SEWING PATTERN WITH INSTANT DOWNLOAD
Use a fat quarter bundle to make this modern hobo-style handbag. The use of pieced panels allows you to show off coordinating prints at their best. For a professional finish, a twist/turn lock is used for the closure. The bag also has a nice long shoulder strap, so it can be worn cross-body if you wish.
Fabrics used in example shown: I used September Blue from Dashwood Studio Fabrics

SUPPLIES & NOTIONS REQUIRED TO MAKE THIS ITEM: (provided by you)
Yardage is based on 112cm (44'') fabric width and 90cm (35.5'') Vilene interfacing width.
Note: if using 20'' width interfacing, like Pellon, you'll need double the amount stated, see below.
• 5 x Fat Quarters (metric 50cm x 55cm) (imperial 20" x 22") coordinating cotton prints
• 1m (1 1/8 yard) medium-weight woven fusible interfacing - Vilene G700
• (double this amount is required if using Pellon SF101, or any other 20" width, so get 2 ¼ yards)
• Scrap of medium weight sew-in interfacing - Vilene M12
• (or scrap of Pellon 40 or similar)
• 30mm (1 ¼ '') round metal twist/turn lock or similar size
• Scraps of fusible fleece for lock reinforcement
